Amy Willbanks

Office Administration, Facility

Amy W is our "air traffic controller” or administrator. She handles all the intricate workings of how the church is run, from budget, payroll and accounting, to facility booking and management.  She also answers the phones during the week, between sessions of listening to 80’s rock.

Born in Michigan but a California girl at heart, Amy came to Santa Cruz to attend Bethany Bible College and developed strong, deep roots in the local community. She holds an AS in Business and is currently working on getting her BS in Business Administration. Amy started attending First Presbyterian Church in 1997 and was hired as the Administrative Assistant in 2002. She assists in many of the day to day happenings on campus and her role has evolved into Church Administrator or as she likes to call it “Air Traffic Controller”.

Amy lives in Soquel with her husband Jeff, her daughter and grandson. She also has a son living in the area. Though neither child is hers by birth they are still hers by heart. She also has three dachshunds who love snuggling and kissing. Amy likes chatting over a pumpkin spice latte at Lulu’s about life’s experiences, reading a myriad of books and listening to 80’s rock (did I just admit that!?). Feel free to come by and say hi or sit down and chat, you’ll always be greeted with a smile (well almost always anyway).
